Birthday Breakfast.

Today I snuck off and went to my Arandas. I have heard good and bad about them, but I only go to mine.  Started with Huevos Ranchero, added chorizo ala Mexicana, a little pic and avocado slices. It was a dream.  Of course I had Starbucks coffee.

Today we tried to launch from Royal High School in Brookshire, TX.  Getting there I got lost and exited the freeway looking for a place to stop and check my GPS.  Once I got my bearings, I drove to the turnabout and saw...

So I stopped and climbed on the tracks.  In one direction I could see...

Dinner Yesterday

I though about going out for dinner, or grabbing "something quick."  Instead I did my first attempt at chicken and cheese enchiladas, with a Hatch chile enchilada sauce.  Yum-Yummy!

First Day of My Vacation

Today we got up and used the bathroom at 5AM.  I puttered around for about an hour and went back to bed. We exploded out of bed at the crack of 11AM!!!

As I tried to figure out what I wanted to eat, I remembered I have pastrami, and I have some great swiss cheese.  So...  Not shown is the stone ground spicy mustard I added on top.

In the Moment - Seth's Closeups.

So I am talking with Seth, trying to get him to understand that he is full of youthful vigor and that he needs to let me take pictures for "Seth Sightings" on my Facebook page.  I told him he needed to get "in the moment" for his closeups and that I would give him a few moments to prepare.

He closed his eyes and moved his head around for a few moments. Then I told him I was ready, and yelled "pose!"  He opened his eyes and flawlessly started to pop!

Since he's only 4 months old I figured I would let him off the hook.  He did well.  Then started digging up Grandma's garden.

Fiery Chicken Wings

They had a sale on chicken wings Friday. 20 for 5 bucks!  So, I got some Yacatan Sunshine, made with Habanero peppers.  And of course, a Shiner Bock so cold that when you pop the cap a spiral of ice forms in the center of the bottle.

Seth Sighting

It takes so much work to get an image of Seth.  He is always moving.  He's gone from 4.5 lbs the week after xmas to 20 lbs today.  A bruiser of puppy.  The his dr. was so amazed at the size of his paws. The latest bet is Basset Hound/Beagle in him.
