This is a long exposure of N275P made with a Mamiya RZ67 medium format camera on a tripod. They got a late start so it was a lot darker than it seems in the picture.  Light pollution does exist-even in more rural areas.  The first manned hydrogen balloon launch from Houston since 1927, Phil Bryant, Dale Tibodeau, and Bert Mann were on board for an all night flight this last summer. 

Sunday Dinner

For dinner, chicken breast that's been left to marinade in red curry for a couple of days before grilling.  Channa masala and couscous.   This is what I am having for lunch tomorrow.  Shot in natural light, no bounces.

My Quick Dinner

This was my dinner.   Bacon wrapped beef filet seasoned with salt and pepper, on a bed of grilled scallions and chile peppers.  Garlic can be seen at the front of the plate.  Rice pilaf with roasted garlic, orange bell peppers, scallions (have a bunch I need to use.)  And cabernet sauvignon to wash it all down with.  Over all, a nice and simple meal.  For dessert I have  half a melon with Greek yogurt.

Note: I shot this using natural light but it has been very cloudy all weekend so DOF is shallow.
