190 - Yesterday's Flight

THIS IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS. I'VE TURNED IT ON SO THE CREW CAN SEE WHERE I AM GOING WITH THIS!

Trying to get the right images to help show the flight track.

Chameleon (L) and Blue Dahlia (R)

Dale inspecting the envelope and parachute.

Blue Drifter launched!  A second ago, the guy on the bottom was in the hanging on to the basket.

My ride is leaving!

It's become real!

The small late (you can see it on Yahoo and Google maps.  Lots of people walking around it during launch preparations.

Crossing the 290 at Huffington.  If you pull back on the google map you will see a bat-shaped lake (find my Places on Facebook) which is where we started. The hospital on the right is located at the 290 frontage road and Huffington.

You should be able to easily figure out the track from the image above to this image.  Note the tower to our left and the warehouse buildings just on the other side of Blue Dahlia.

Chameleon is a 105,000 square foot balloon (a soccer ball is about 1 square foot) and that's a good thing cause with me in the basket it was needed.
