Over 50 pilots and crew from the
Lone Star Hot Air Balloon Association and
Central Texas Balloon Association for a day long Safety Seminar. Wonderful speakers. You would not believe the experience and talent available in this pool of pilots. This got me excited to get serious about lighter-than-air flying.
Working for ConocoPhillips, safety is drilled into us all the time. Our work is never so important that we can go about doing it in a safe manner. These pilots and crew are no slouches in the safety department either.
Oh, and I won a Starbucks card as a door prize-and y'all know about me and Starbucks.
